Writing

The storm looks the darkest when the story isn’t good and yet in the biggest storm of my life, God orchestrated the disaster and revealed His promise to care for His child.

God, what are you doing?  God, why are you allowing this?  God, do you not love me?  God how are you going to write THIS – in the story of Your goodness?

If you have never been in a place of asking those hard questions, then you have never experienced a huge storm (and you eventually will) or you aren’t being honest with yourself and God.  This is the story where God shows up in an Orchestrated Disaster and then allows us – over and over again – to find Him in the middle of the biggest storms.  It is transparent and raw and written with many tears shed because unless I show you my scars, then you will never understand how God heals the wounds.
